I'd agree that you need to be careful of running a very long external oil
lines. The rule of thumb I seem to remember is 1 psi oil pressure drop for
every foot of extra oil line. You can probably figure 15 feet or so of
lines to get to the front of the radiator and back. You can do the math
from there.
Or with probably even less effort than moving everything to the front, you
can mount an Acusump and an oil/water heat exchanger approximately where the
existing swirl and overflow tanks are now - minimal extra oil lines that
way. John Taphorn's article detailing all the steps was published in PI a
year or two ago. Most of it is also on the Space City Panteras web page.

I am considering an Accusump installion over a larger oil pan and not
cutting the frame, any pros, cons?
It will be mounted in the front trunk and I'll probably route an oil cooler
up front as well.
