[DeTomaso] Resistor on A/C Blower

I don't have a speed control picked out, but these resistors are cheap
and should be easy to find. If anyone has the specs on this resistor,
I'll find a source (power rating and resistance, or part number).

Bill,

After having repaired two of the low/high resistors on the Pantera A/C
blower, I was wondering if anyone has come up with a more modern
replacement. I didn't see anything in the data base.

Those things look like some 19th century device!

Thanks

In the modern world, this job would be done with a pulse width
modulated
switching power supply. This would provide continuous speed control and
very low
heat dissipation.

I'll search out if such an aftermarket device is available at a
reasonable
cost.

Anybody know of one?
