BIG BOB,
You better come back....
several of the veteran racers asked where you and jason were!
I had a good conversation with RJ Gottleib and Rick Doria about the road course 'conditions'....RJ said in spite of the cross winds the biggest challenge for him and "Big Red" was making speed in the dips/moguls without bottoming out on the road....the road condtions to include the dips have only got worse during the last couple years ....but thats ;the challenge! Mike Borders brought out a Winston cup car with 850 HP and Mike is a veteran driver and he also couldn't put the big numbers together either although no one else was close to his 187 average.
He doesn't think ;anyone including himself will break the new record of 207 until AFTER the road is resurfaced....that may never happen...Rick Doria who now is running a Ferrari F-40 that is race prepared said the same thing....NDOT would need to re-grade and resurface but personally I like the idea that the fastest cars aren't really that fast on the road. to me thats the challenge....use the existing course conditions to run the safest fastest speed possible! ;-]>

Way to go Team Pantera. Old iron rules!!! I do remember the whoops and Larry
telling me about them above 140 as they can tear things up. Might bring the
Black Wings #3 out again in spring.... it doesn"t like it if it is cold outside.
