Tommy Gun,
Agree with everything you said except in ORR we are the ONLY vintage cars that start and finish with any consistency. We should all be proud of that. I'm glad we have you ;and Dave in Colorado and the Texas Boyz to run with us....all we need is some flatlanders and some rightous brothers from the right coast to join us....I am hearing the La Carrera in Mexico is gonna be back on schedule in 2007 as well.
P.S. Someone named Hilda in Ely asked when you were coming back...something about child support payments....better give her a call before Child Welfare impounds your ride.

Guys, you carried our banner with honor and were recognized for
it...WELL DONE! I wanted to be there SO bad but just can't swing too
many events in 1 season due to costs and biz downtime (and busted
engines!). Damn, these events ain't for the minimum wagers! There's a
great point made here about the age of our cars. There are not many cars
on the road or track that are as old as ours that are consistently
thrashed and run to the limits.
Look around at the next race event and see how many cars are older than
yours. You can count 'em on 1 hand. And most of our cars are more
roadworthy today than when they left the factory thanks to plenty of
innovation by our friends and vendors over the years.
I'm proud to reside on the eastern edge of the "Team Pantera Racing"
empire and hope to meet my fellow p-car owners next year again at the
track in Pahrump, Big Bend, Wendover, or Nebraska.

Ps. Mad Dawg, I had a girl call here about an outstanding bill regarding
a "trip around the world" she took you on. She had an accent and claimed
she's developed a rash that itches real bad. You might want to change
your phone number.....
