Subject: [DeTomaso] Electronics question: Diode vs. Rectifier

Where do you guys buy diodes big enough to run the fan current through
anyway? I'm looking to just connect a single turn signal warning light
on
the dash to both sides turn signals, and need "electrical one-way
valves" to
stop from shorting one side to the other.

I went to Fry-Pie's but the only had tiny diodes...but larger similar
looking gizmos labeled rectifiers. Even have the stripe like a diode.

I bought a couple marked R-800 PRV, 3A......they are NTE 5808....will
this
work for what I'm trying to do?

Guy D.
