  You're absolutly right about the formula for lifting on the throttle to slow down although I fail to see how that gets me over the dips at a higher speed. ;-]> 
   
  Its been what, 2-3 years since you (legally) last ran an ORR road? 
  Since your esteemed absence from Silver State all those 'shallow' little dips on that 2-lane road are now big-boy dips unless you are traveling at speeds under 150 Mph. My goal isn't to slow down...its to navigate the dips at faster speeds.

Seriously, it would be good to have a solution for bottoming out - the Winged Warrior is pretty low and bottoms all the time. I've thought about mounting a shopping cart wheel where it makes contact but the local Albertsons has installed security cameras.
If I recall, there are only a couple of big dips along the SS course and they come up about 3/4's of the way down - a good stage to lift the pedal and let the crankcase vent. Oh my god, I can't believe I actually suggested taking the pedal off the floor! Must be getting lame.
