[DeTomaso] MSD Mechanical Advance & Tach Adaptor

A MSD 8577 has roughly 20 degrees of mechanical advance available. So if
you set your static at 14, then you'll end up with about 34 degrees max.
The advance will be full on somewhere around 3500 rpm if I remember
correctly. MSD also sells a kit containing several different spring pairs
and various rubber bumpers (plus instructions and advance charts) that
permit a fair amount of advance adjustment.

If you have a stock distributor, then you will want an 8920 tach adaptor.

Subject: [DeTomaso] MSD Mechanical Advance & Tach Adaptor

What is the mechanical advance for an MSD 8577 in a stock Pantera 351C?

What tach adaptor is required for that application?

Thanks,
Rick
