[DeTomaso] MSD Mechanical Advance & Tach Adaptor

On my car and others that I have set up, I aim for 16 degrees initial 
advance with 20 or 22 in the distributor.  22 if your compression ratio will 
allow you to get away with it.  I also set the curve to be at full advance 
by 2800 RPM.
