I'm not sure I follow you here. Normally the battery is grounded to the
car, and the chassis is used as the grounding cable, so yes, electricity
flows through the chassis. In fact the flow is exactly the same as the
flow through the fat positive lead going to the battery.
No, or very little flow through the front hood and rear wings though as
the current would go the easiest way, and it would have to pass through
the lubricated hinges and stuff to be able to flow through these.
