-20C? Jeez - If we had that over here, the country would stop dead - But I know what you mean about the damp playing a big part.
   
  We've just had warmest Jan since 1916. Plus strongest winds since 1990 - loads of damage and trees down. It's by far the warmest winter i've experienced. - Not even bothered to top up the antifreeze in the Honda yet. 
   
  You could quite comfortably walk around in shirt sleeves today. Strange, but I ain't complaining. It still goes dark at 4.45 though.
