Just a thought--it doesn't hurt any less to crash your car while going 70 mph 
on the road vs. 70 mph on a track.   So heater hose shutoff valves are 
*always* a good idea, unless you *know* your heater hoses (under the dash) are very 
new--and then they are still a good idea anyway. :>)
