[DeTomaso] top 10 performance upgrades

Negative....never had a hose or clamp failure on my Pantera in 20 years but have always used after market Green Strip hoses and double clamped....Speaking of heater shut off valve (s) I have heard of an old heater hose letting lose in the cockpit of a Pantera before while it was on course...can't remember who it was but obviously if its not urban myth he got sprayed with hot coolant and cockpit immediately filled with steam. our resident historians (Mikey or Jack) probablf know who it might have been.

Remind me now, are Panteras more prone to hose failure than other cars?
