The standard Aussie blocks are not enough different to worry about.
The condition of the individual block is more important.  The rare
XE Aussie NASCAR 4 bolt main block is a different deal.  They are
considerably stronger and a better foundation for a high HP motor.
I have one of those in parts stash...

2.25" primaries are overly large.  Are you sure they aren't 2"?
