[DeTomaso] 2V heads

The only thing a bit better is closed Chamber qeunch 4 V head being rock and
rolled by a solid roller cam willing and ready to spin 7500 RPM. There is
nothing more beauiful then that sound! It really is quite immaculate!! And
so is pull your bag off power from a rolling 3400-7500 RPM. My old iron
worked over CC heads flow 320 CFM at 600 Lift......What more would one need
from a head on the tiny 351C bore/stroke?
The Aussie 2Vs may make a good bit of low end, trouble is they really are
out of breath at 5500 RPM flat on their face with any cam. You can never
make a 351 act like a big block, never......why try? Its endevour with mild
marginal returns in my opinion, unless you use a walker with tennis balls on
the bottom. An Aussie headed 351C is a great engine for grand papa with
marginal Hydro Cam. 351 C's are capable of making just an awesome amount
of top end power. I had mine built and ready for a 200 HP shot of
nitrous......My build left me asking what was I thinking? 1st thru 3rd is
good for 133MPH and a not bad real quickly to get there! I actively race a
mid 10 second bracket car. I am damn certain my Pantera is at least as good
for high 11 seconds in the quarter.....
Pantera's are road cars...you get me on a roll chances are high I am going
to chew someones @** and wreck someones day. That does not mean I am billy
bad-@** but I am really confident I can chew up 98.5% of anything out in
Oregon with a licence plate New/Old without the laughing gas I originally
planned, in need to prove it contest..........With the 200 shot of gas good
lord! All bets are on!
At the end of the day I race 462 big cubes with wheels in the air at
launch......But this little old Ford motor has a top end that is way cool up
top with the Iron 4vs and the aggressive solid!
To coin Nancy Reagon..........Just say no to Aussies! I gueess I am saying
from this view they are just not for me, or what I want from my
351C.............Find a set of CC 4Vs call Crower for the roller and the
Engine behavior of your dreams, and you will never look back at Australia.
