[DeTomaso] [NPC] Big dollars at BJ auction

I have owned a pantera for 26 years. I spent about 10 years staying more or
less original. I guess I am thick skulled because after 10 years I finally
realized what I wanted is a great car to drive not look at and hope it goes
up in value. Unless you are selling to a museum, I can not imagine why
someone would want an original car. It is just not sensible.

I feel the contrary, the well done modified car should be more valuable than
anything original car expect for the museum buyer.

I was at Barrett Jackson all day yesterday. I was talking to my car buddy
that if I had the money, I would love to have an announcer ask me what I was
going to do with this high dollar original car I just bought and say, " I
am going to take it into my garage and take the intake, carb and exhaust off
, add a good cam, some headers.....

Just like we did when we bought them new. They are better that way.

Rich
