Over the years as more people restored old warbirds the value
skyrocketed. In doing so it also gave money to the markets that created
parts. There are now more old rare WWII aircraft flying then have for
some tme. People continually turn serial numbers into flying examples.
Some of that happens here. When the value increases on a car, a lot more
people want to restore them. In doing so more people are prepared to pay
money for parts. I believe it helps. You may no longer be able to
purchase that Hemi Cuda convertible but you can buy something similar.
You can even buy new bodies for Camero's and 57 Chevy's. I think the
flip side is what if you desired a mint 1970 AMC hornet. Try to find one
or even parts today.
