[DeTomaso] Tri Power for 351C

Also - fun to tweak.

I had a 2x4 intake on my 428 mustang. The carbs were 600cfm Holley (1850)
vacuum secondary carbs (with the vacuum canisters connected). The linkage
was progressive. The carbs were mounted backward - primary floats in the
rear.

It worked sorta like a 600 double pumper with another 600cfm of vacuum
secondary. I adjusted the linkage so that I could cruise on the primaries
of just 1 carb. If I barely kicked in the 2nd carb, it would overpower the
tires. If I floored it, it would *really* overpower the tires. Fun stuff.

Dude, this intake is RARE. I was told by a Ford expert once that only 10
were ever made. I saw the intake alone at a swap meet once and they wanted
$2500 for it.

But as for benefits. It is kind of like a 6 barrel with progressive
secondaries. The center carb is a small primary and the two outer carbs
make a large secondary. Econemy, Response, and power.
