[Miata] T1-R Info

wow, quite a range of feedback.
one point to consider is diameter of the wheel used;
as larger wheels have less sidewall (to flex/squish).
 
however, even an MSM owner thought T-1R's were soft...
 
OTH, IMO I liked the 195/55-14 T-1Rs on my 97 with FM Springs, AGX shocks, FM sway bars.
Rode smooth, no vibrations at any speed - Road Force balanced on Hunter 9700.   
Altho 9/10ths handling was not as good as my 94 with much stiffer S-03s.
the T-1Rs did hold up well at a track day - handled way better than I had anticpated.
 
So I will consider it a performance tire with comfort - compared to the ultra sticky, stiffer summer tires.   I'll be getting another set for my DD.  the other miata will get the Bridgestone 01-Rs :)
