[Miata] top question

My new (to me) 1992 Miata needs a new back window in the convertible 
top. I have found several articles on miata.net that explain how to 
do it, and that the factory top has a different zipper than the after 
market windows. I am thinking about doing this myself, and from what 
I read i isn't that bad to do as long as you don't need to change the 
zipper.

My question is, how can I tell if the top on the car is original or 
after market?

Any help with this is appreciated.
