[Miata] Tire decision

First, thank you to everyone who responded on-list and off to my 
question about the Toyo T1-Rs. I appreciated every single response.

I had a long talk with Keith yesterday about all of the options. I took 
the T1-R out of the running, mostly based on the potential out-of-round 
issue. We considered the Hankooks, which didn't seem to have any 
advantages and would probably wear faster. We ruled out the Ecsta MX 
because they have been on back order for over a year. I would have gone 
with the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3, at considerably more expense, except 
they are also on back order, with production scheduled for no earlier 
than September.

So, the tire on order is a new one: the Dunlop Direzza DZ101 (The Z1 
starts at 16" and I have 15" wheels). The price was $61 with a $50 
rebate for buying four! If they work out, the money will be 
outstanding. I'll keep you posted.
