To go 75 miles in a Diesel getting 25 MPG (which is stretching it) will
require 3 gallons @ $5.05 = 15.15

To go the same 75 in a Miata getting 25 mpg will require 3 gallons @
4.40 = 13.20

Now if I still had my 83 VW Diesel pickup, I'd be getting over 35 MPG;
the problem is that I had a 25 gallon tank put in it, and usually put in
about 20 Gallons per fill-up: 20 x 5.05 = $101.00!
