It was my suggestion that they wouldn't even clear the rotors if they were
the wrong brackets.

mounting bracket is for a different model/car. I will swap back the old
brackets to see if that solves the problem. Although my initial reaction was
that Autoparts Warehouse did not get it right, they have responded to my
emails to check part numbers to my VIN, but that only assumes that the
people who did the rebuild got it right. Oh well, this project has taken
much more than the allotted time, what is a few more hours of fun under the
wheel wells.
