On the subframe. Just center the bar and then put a small hose clamp, fuel
hose size, on the outside of each mounting point on the subframe. The bar
can't slide anymore. It happens from that nice grease we all stick on the
bar before we install it.

I read about that, but had trouble picturing what that setup would look
like. Are you talking about the mount on the subframe or the control arm?

I've had clunks from JR and RB bars through the years.
In my case it occurred from the bar shifting side to side.
The solution was a small hose clamp on the outside of each mounting
brackets
to hold the bar centered.

Yes, we've had a few bars clunking recently. We thought we had the
cause identified, now I'm not so sure. It shouldn't be affecting
mounting points at all of course.
