[Miata] Battery dead then live again??

I recently replaced a 1 year old westco battery that just would not
hold a charge. I bought a wet cell from autozone.

It started right up every time for about 1 week. Then I pulled into a
gas stations to fill up and it was stone dead on a restart. Turns out
the positive battery cable slipped off the post. (I had just cross
some RR tracks that were really bad shape).

The advice - check for loose connections...
