I know, isn't it great!

The best thing is that it's a marriage of Ford quality and Spanish
manufacturing  :P

Now the new-for-2008 Ka is an whole other deal, being the product of an
unholy alliance between Ford and Fiat, it's based on the Fiat Panda
platform, so you have quality Italian design combined with Eastern European
(Poland) manufacturing.  Whee!!

The really sad thing is that the one thing the Italians are well known for
is stylish design, but apparently this car missed the bus.  Pinninfarina
were obviously not consulted on the design, rather a quick breeze through
Ugly forest did the trick.  OK, so the Mk-I Ka wasn't a thing of beauty, but
it had a so-funky-it's-cool thing going.  The new one is just funky :P
